If you know a veteran who is struggling with homelessness, addiction, mental health issues, or other challenges, please refer them to the Veterans Life Center of North Carolina. The VLC is a safe and supportive place where veterans can receive the care and assistance they need to rebuild their lives. The VLC offers residential programs, counseling, education, job training, and more. The VLC accepts referrals from veterans themselves, family members, friends, service providers, or anyone who cares about a veteran in need.

The Veterans Life Center is a residential program designed to help at-risk 21st Century veterans. Our goal is to provide each of our residents the prospect of a constructive and personally satisfying role in civil society.


Key Facts

With construction complete, the elements of the program finalized and staff on board, the actual functioning of the facility began when the first residents arrived in September 2020.


Our State of the Art Facility

Our facility has been built on a 9.5-acre property leased from the state and located in Butner, NC.


Our Veteran Residents

Our typical veteran residents will be those who have been unable to make a successful transition.
